GB adds to its rental portfolio

GB has completed on a 2 bed apartment within The Ginger Line Building, Wapping and a 1 bed apartment in Taylor Wimpey’s development at Battersea Exchange.

The apartment within Ginger Line Building was let unfurnished within 2 weeks of completion and generates a 3.9% yield. Battersea Exchange was let furnished 3 weeks after completion with a tenant moving in within 24hours of their viewing and generates a 3.8% yield.

Simon Grace commented “In line with our strategy to complete a proportion of units we purchase off plan, both these apartments will be held for the longer term. They are located in areas expected to outperform average house price inflation and will provide a good return on equity.”
