Simon J Grace
Managing Director
Simon Grace graduated from the University of the West of
England in 1992 having obtained a degree (2:1) in Housing &
Development.
Simon joined FPD Savills in 1993 within their Docklands
office as a graduate and by 1995 was running the residential
agency department.
In 1996, he was promoted to Associate and transferred into
the development department within the same office, concentrating
solely on the sourcing of opportunities and sale of new build
developments in the Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf areas of London.
In 1998, Simon was promoted to Associate Director and set up
and ran the new FPD Savills residential office at Butler's Wharf,
London. The office dealt with residential land acquisitions and
sales, development consultancy and new build agency sales. 1998
also saw the formation of the London Property Partnership, the
forerunner to GB Developments.
In 1999, Simon joined Colliers RH as a Director and became one
of the market's top residential investment and development consultants
dealing with a wide range of product and developers within Central
London.
Simon has recently been instrumental in the formation of Cushman
& Wakefield Residential and was one of 6 founding Board Directors
in late 2005. This role included the rolling out of residential
offices within existing Cushman & Wakefield offices throughout Eastern
Europe and development consultancy roles in cities from Budapest to
Prague to Moscow. In addition, Cushman & Wakefield Residential were
appointed as lead advisors on a £250m Eastern European residential
investment fund.
GB Developments, established in August 2002, will now be Simon's
primary business activity as Managing Director of the Company.
